On today's What America's Thinking, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds 77 percent trust the CDC to report coronavirus information accurately compared to 23 percent who trust the White House more. Hill Reporter, Nathaniel Weixel, explains the Trump administration's decision and the reaction to it. Robert Griffin, Research Director at the Democracy Fund Voter Study Group joins Hill TV to discuss public opinion on the issue. This survey was conducted online within the United States from July 17-20, 2020 among 2,829 registered voters by HarrisX. The sampling margin of error of this poll is plus or minus 1.84 percentage points. The results reflect a nationally representative sample of registered voters. Results were weighted for age within gender, region, race/ethnicity, income, political party, and education where necessary to align them with their actual proportions in the population.
