Tea Inspired Sweets 3 of 5: Chai Tea Latte Cheesecake! If you’re ever having a bad day, I assure you eating this cheesecake will make you feel better! It has a speculoos crust with a no bake cheesecake filling that is flavoured with a touch of vanilla and real chai tea! This was actually my first time trying chai, and I promise you, this is not the last chai recipe you’ll see from me. I LOVED the flavour! • • • #shorts #fyp #foryou #food #cheesecake _____________________________ ⭐️•Makes 1 Nine Inch Cheesecake•⭐️ Also Makes 4 Four-Inch Cheesecakes • • • 🍪•Cookie Crust•🍪 ➡️ 2 2/3 Cups (267g) Speculoos Crumbs ➡️ Pinch Of Salt ➡️ 6 1/2 Tablespoons (92g) Butter, Melted 🫖•Chai Tea Latte Cheesecake•🫖 ➡️ 2 1/4 Cups (511g) Whipped Cream Cheese ➡️ 3/4 Cup (188mL) Heavy Cream, Whipped ➡️ 3 Tablespoons (47g) Plain Yogurt ➡️ 1 3/4 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract ➡️ 2/3 Cup (83g) Powdered Sugar ➡️ 2 1/2 Teaspoons Ground Chai Tea 🍭•Whipped Cream•🍭 ➡️ 1 Cup (250mL) Heavy Cream ➡️ 2 1/2 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar ➡️ 3/4 Teaspoon Vanilla • • • ⭐️NOTE: You can swap the ground chai tea for a chai spice mix. It’s a 1:1 ratio. • • • 1️⃣. To make the crust, mix speculoos crumbs, melted butter and salt until combined. Press into a parchment lined springform pan and set aside. 2️⃣. For the cheesecake, fold together the whipped cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, plain yogurt and chai tea powder. Then fold in the whipped heavy cream until incorporated and smooth. Spread on top of the crust then refrigerate for at least 6 hours. 3️⃣. For the whipped cream, whip heavy cream to soft peaks, then add in the powdered sugar and vanilla and whip to stiff peaks. Pipe or spread this on top of the cheesecake and enjoy! _________________________ 🍽•Extra Tips & Advice•🍽 ➡️ The Greek yogurt adds a nice little tang to the cheesecake which gives it a nice rich flavour. ➡️ Adding just a pinch of ground cloves along with the chai would help bring out that flavour. ➡️ When making the cheesecake base, make sure you whip your cream cheese and heavy cream enough to ensure it’s nice and light as this is how the air is incorporated into it. ➡️ This would go great with a drizzle of caramel! ___________________________ If you would like to see more of my creations and recipes, check out my Instagram, Facebook and TikTok pages.
