This famous Filipino and crowd favourite pancit is now meatless, vegetarian and vegan friendly! Easy, delicious and tastes like the original despite the absence of meat.
Ingredients:
4 cloves garlic minced
1/2 of medium onion, chopped
2 medium carrots, julienned
1/4 of large cabbage, sliced
454 g medium firm tofu, cubed
3 cups vegetable broth (homemade from kitchen scraps)
1/2 tsp annatto powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 c soy sauce
2 tbsp Maggi Liquid Seasoning plus 1/2 tbsp for tofu
300g sotanghon/vermicelli
oil for frying and sauteing
