At first, you may feel like this tool to make your selfie life easier is actually harder to use, but, after some tutorials and playing with it for a bit, you see how cool it really is. The app to download and sign up for is completely free though at first I thought I would have to pay to subscribe to their services. It doesn’t make you go through the App Store at all. It gave me a 3 month Prime membership once I clicked it, and when it’s up, I have no idea. In the meantime, the YZ Cami app is a whole other world at your fingertips. This app is an excellent link between your phone and the gimbal. Of course your phone is BT into the gimbal since you set it up to be that way, but you can touch your screen while in the YZ Cami app to help control the gimbal to fluff up your videos in new and various ways— even do a smooth 180 degree pano. The Smooth X gimbal does all the work for you. You can either get the device to have your phone stay horizontal with gravity or vertical with gravity, all with the settings. You can flip the controls and/or flip the natural way the phone will sit as you move your arm. Learning the way the Smooth X works, along with learning the cool functions of the YZ Cami app will help you make some cool videos. I see a lot of potential with this! I am happy I purchased it. Buy a tripod attachment to have it stand... and then you can do a hands-off sort of video. From making a video on a tripod, to a selfie video to utilizing some neat templates, there is so much I know I will be able to do with this. So exciting! Recommended purchase.
