NAB is investigating Maryam in a case pertaining to the illegal transfer of a 200-acre land in Raiwind. The bureau had even prepared a questionnaire for her. More than 20 PML-N workers have been arrested for pelting stones at the office and policemen deployed outside it. In response, the police baton-charged the crowd to disperse them. NAB, in a statement, said that it has postponed Maryam's appearance because of the chaos. Many policemen were injured and the office windows were broken because of the attack initiated by the PML-N workers, the bureau said. It accused Maryam of promoting violence just so she doesn't have to appear before the bureau. Those who intervened in legal processes will be held accountable, NAB added. Maryam will respond to the accusations against her in a press conference at 3pm. The PML-N leader, on the other hand, on her Twitter account shared a video of policemen pelting stones at her vehicle outside the NAB office.
