Fish fry recipe,,village style fish fry.....Fish is loaded with important nutrients, such as protein and vitamin D. Fish is also the world's best source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are incredibly important for your body and brain.Village style Fish Fry is an authentic dish made in Indian villages, its so tasty that you would ask for more..so try this dish it's so easy and tasty. INGREDIENTS ----------- 1.Fish -- 5 pieces 2.Red chilli powder -- 1 teaspoon 3.Turmeric -- 1/2 teaspoon 4.Gram masala powder -- 1/2 teaspoon 5.Ginger garlic powder -- 1 teaspoon 6.Oil -- 2 tablespoon 7.Onion -- 1 big sized 8.Tomatoes -- 2 big sized 9.Cumin powder -- 1/2 teaspoon 10.Coriander -- 1/2 teaspoon 11.Water -- 1 cup 12.Coconut powder -- 2 teaspoon 13.Curry leaves -- few 14.Coriander leaves -- few 15.Green chillies -- 2 16.Mint leaves -- few 17.Lemon -- half a lemon juice 18.Salt -- as required METHOD ------ 1.Take 5 pieces of fish in a bowl, in it add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic powder and garam masala powder. 2.Mix them well and let it marinate for 30 minutes. 3.Add two tablespoon oil in a pan and heat it well. 4.In this heated oil add onion and fry well till it changes the colour. 5.Then add ginger garlic paste and fry well til its raw smell dissapears , now add tomatoes cut finely. 6.Fry tomatoes well till it becomes smooth and add little salt. 7.Then add red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon , turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon, cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon, coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon. 8.Mix all these ingredients well and let them cook for sometime. 9.Then add fish let it cook for 30 seconds and then turn the fish and let it cook for 30 seconds so that all the masalas enter inside the fish. 10.Add some water and let the fish cook for 5 minutes. 11.Add 2 teaspoon coconut powder and let it cook . 12.Finally add few curry leaves,coriander leaves,mint leaves and cut green chillies. 13.Then simmer it for 5 minutes and our village style fish curry is ready to serve
